Takashi Murakami

So I’m here chilling at the crib searching the web and waiting for my clothes to finish washing when I come across this name..”Takashi Murakami”. At first I was puzzled but after a couple of different sites and a couple of blogs I finally became familiar with him. Takashi Murakami was born in Tokyo in 1963 and Is the most thoughtful and thought provoking Japanese artist of the 1900s.He had a recent solo shows at Marianne Boesky Gallery, New York (2003) which I missed for not doing my homework on him..lol..His art has a inspirational look to it, well for me it does. The colors and how he put them together gives me some kind energy like an motivational energy.Murakami also designs for Louis Vuitton and collaborated with Kanye West on drawing his now favorite piece the college bear. Hes known for a lot more pieces, drawing and books but these are my favorites..
